Purvee completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Civil Engineering. She has over ten years of rich experience in the education sector. She has had the privilege to teach underprivileged children since she was in high school. During her undergrad, she worked at an NGO at a macro-organizational level and focused on building the Volunteer Management System for the sustainable growth of the NGO. An inclination towards educational equity led her to the Teach For India Fellowship. As a Fellow, she worked with primary graders where she implemented various instructional strategies and explored the intersection of technology, curriculum, and pedagogy. After the Fellowship, Purvee joined the Nalanda Project in order to broaden her radius of impact. Presently, as a Program Manager in an EdTech intervention program, she is single-handedly impacting over 2500 children, 35 classrooms and 8 schools in the city of Mumbai, one of the most populous cities of India |
